Judith "Judy" Anderson, age 78,of Amboy, died on Friday May 13, 2022 at KSB Hospital in Dixon.
She was born on Jan 28, 1944, in Princeton, the daughter of Philip and Charlotte (Piaszyk) Byczynski.
Judy worked as a dental assistant in Amboy for Dr. Shapiro, Fox and Hochstatter for over 35 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy and St. Vincent DePaul Society food pantry.
Judy married Lawrence "Jim" Anderson on July 3, 1974, in Aurora, IL. He preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 2006. She is also preceded in death by one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Albert Byczynski, William Byczynski and three sisters, Bertha Saltzman, Pearl Hand and Mildred Byczynski.
Judy is survived by her five children, two sons and their wives and three daughters and their husbands; 10 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. She is also survived three sisters and a special niece.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy and then again on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. There will be a saying of the Rosary before the visitation at 3:30 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. Cremation rites will follow.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Paricks. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy.
