Pearl Mary Hand, 79, of Wyanet passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Born March 31, 1934, in DePue to Raymond Hedges and Charlotte (Piacyk) Byczynski, she married Willis Hand Nov. 3, 1951, in Bettendorf, Iowa. He survives. She attended LaMoille High School. She was a life-long homemaker, was an EMT for 25 years and worked at Gateway Services. She was a founder and dedicated member of the Wyanet Rescue Unit.
