Jo Jordan, 84, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022, at River Bend Assisted Living in Great Bend. She was born on October 7, 1937, at Great Bend, to Wesley & Evelyn Miller. She married Clifford R. Jordan on August 30, 1959 at Great Bend, Kansas.
A lifetime Great Bend resident, Jo was a sales rep for Avon for many years. She was a member of United Methodist Church and then First Christian Church. Jo worked as a church visitor, sharing her smile with the homebound and elderly. She also enjoyed caring for children in her later years. Jo was a true friend to all she met and was a dedicated follower of the Lord.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2022 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at First Christian Church with Reverend Josh Leu presiding. Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery. Memorials have been designated to First Christian Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
