She was born in Carroll County on August 11, 1929 to the late Grady and Lillie Ayers. She loved fishing and sewing and was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her son, Jimmy Lee (Pamela); daughter, Ann Lee Bastuba; brother Gene Ayers; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
