Vida was an active member of the Ypsilanti Assembly of God for over 60 years where she served in various capacities and developed many life-long friendships. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and always put others before herself. She was a strong woman, a useful trait as a police officer's wife who raised three boys. Vida was always ready to help and sacrifice for others. If she loved you, she made sure you knew it.
She is survived by her son Philip (Colleen) Weber; grandchildren Andrew (Joy) Weber, Sarah Weber, Daniel Weber and Michael Weber; great-grandchild Grayson Weber, and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, son Timothy Weber, sisters Juanita Cooper and Wilma Mayes; brothers Johnson Mayes, Adolphus "Dolly" Mayes, Buford Mayes and Kelly Mayes.
