He married Jessie V Davis, the daughter of John Davis and Hester Ann Hoskins, abt 1917. Their children were Rufus M Eoff (d.y.), Harry Russell Eoff, Richard L Eoff , Lou Ann (Eoff) Hunt and Ruth Eoff.
He was raised on a farm and worked as a farm laborer. In later years he was in the maintenance business for Montgomery Ward in Spokane, Washington. At death he was survived by his wife, Jessie, of Spokane, Wa, sons Richard L Eoff of Cheney, Wa, Harry Russell Eoff of Anchorage, Ak; daughters Lou Ann Hunt of Vinton, Ia, Ruth Eoff of Pleasantville, Ia; brothers Floyd E Eoff of Edina, Mo and Paul C Eoff of Rutledge Mo; and 7 grandchildren.
