GOFF, WILMA HARLAN - age 95, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, February 18, 2002. She was a member of Church Street United Methodist Church, where she was active in the United Methodist Church Circle Number 9. She was an accomplished seamstress, who made the beautiful chrismon ornaments for her church. Before moving to Shannondale Health Care Center, where she appreciated the fine care the staff provided, she enjoyed her home on W. Hillvale Turn and her many neighbors and friends. Mrs. Goff was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Ollia Edward Goff, who served on the faculty LSU, UT and OU. Survivors: niece, Edna Guinn of Bixby, Okla. Family and friends will meet Thursday and the main entrance to Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Rev. William J. Fowler and Rev. Cable W. Trent officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church Street United Methodist Church, 900 Henley St., Knoxville, TN 37909. Friends may call at their convenience at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel.
