She attended Tuscumbia High School. She was employed as a Customer Service Representative at Scholastic's and as a babysitter. She enjoyed dancing, babysitting and admired dolphins.
She is survived by her four children: Jason Holtmeyer and his fiancé Heather of Taos, Kelly Schulte and her husband Tim of Tuscumbia, Electrician's Mate 1st Class Submarines Qualified Richard "Rick" Holtmeyer and his wife April of Goose Creek, South Carolina and Sarah Holtmeyer of Eugene; three sisters: Peggy Bouren of Lafayette, Louisiana, Linda Loethen of Eugene, and Kitty
Weider and her husband Mike of Taos; and eight grandchildren: Jamie Holtmeyer, Meredith Holtmeyer, MacKinzie Holtmeyer, Lilyauna Cobb, Jake Schulte, Beau Distler, Kegan Beazley, and Hunter Beazley.
Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2007 at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Rev. Murl Nash officiating. Private Graveside services will be held at the Mount Zion Christian Church Cemetery near Tuscumbia. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
