BARBARA'S OBITUARY
Barbara Jean Thompson, 81, passed away in Oklahoma City, OK, on Monday, April 11, 2022. Barbara was born to Lawrence and Evelyn Coley in San Juan, TX, on December 4, 1940. Moving to Oklahoma at a young age, she attended Putnam City Schools where she met her high school sweetheart, Charles Thompson. They shared 63 years of marriage and passed away within two days of each other. Barbara worked at various retail stores, and at one point she worked and enjoyed her job at the school cafeteria so she could be near her grandchildren while they were at school. A precious, sweet lady, family was always first with her and she was loved by all.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thompson; father and mother, Lawrence & Evelyn Coley, and sister, Betty Jeffers.
She is survived by her daughters, Christina Nickel and husband Mark, and Susan Trail and husband Randy; brother, Larry Coley; sister, Carol Franklin; granddaughters, Katherine Russell and husband Sean, and Amanda Trail, and a great-granddaughter, Heather Russell.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2022, at the Bethany Cemetery, Bethany, OK.
