OBITUARY - Mrs Richard Harner, who resides west of town and her uncle, William S Ames of Odell, received word Sunday of the death of her father and brother, Fred Ames, who was found dead in bed by his family at his home in Walkerton,Ind. The body will be brought to Odell for burial Tuesday and will be taken to the Watson Funeral Home, where it will remain until the hour of the funeral. Services will be held Tuesday at 3pm (daylight) at the Jones cemetery in Sunbury township, which is located northwest of Odell. Mr Ames was 74 years old and is survived by his widow and 9 sons and daughters, 3 of whom are residing at home. He resided in the vicinity of Blackstone, where he engaged in farming until about 10 years ago, when he moved to Walkerton,Ind.
