Rice Child Dies of Appendicitis
Funeral Services Held Monday Afternoon
Cherner Rice, young son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Rice, who live north of Madill on the Buckholt place died Sunday in an Ardmore hospital as a result of appendicitis.
The body was returned to Madill by Watts ambulance and prepared for burial.
Funeral services were in charge of Rev. J. C. Morris, local Methodist pastor and were held in the home of Mrs. Manse Rice at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon. Music was furnished by Mrs. Jno. Landram and Mrs. Earl Ayres and by the male quartette of the Nazarene church.
Burial was in the American Legion cemetery.
