May 26, 1929 - March 25, 2015
Macon, GA- Adelaide"Teenie" Tutt Veal passed away March 25th, 2015 at the age of 85. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 28th, 2015 at Vineville United Methodist Church at 2 PM. Visitation with the family will be held at the church directly following the service.
She was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. A lifelong Macon resident, she graduated from Miller High School in 1947. Afterwards, she remained in Macon, where she was married to William Forrest Veal until his passing in 2010. In addition to raising her family, she worked her entire career for Howard, Moore, McDuffie, CPA. She was also a lifelong active member of Vineville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her five sons, Gary Veal (J.J. Giddens) of McCormick, S.C., Ken Veal (Karen Sims) of Greensboro, N.C., Bobby Veal (Mary Anne Brent) of Advance, N.C., Jimmy Veal (Sharon Cansler) of Canton, Ga., and Wayne Veal (Beth Wingate) of Valdosta, Ga.; her brothers-in-law Inman Veal (Mary Frank) of Gray, Ga., and Donnie Veal (Deanne) of Tifton, Ga.; her sister-in-law Jo Tutt of Easley, SC, her grandchildren Jodi, Andy (Juliet Marks), Ashley, Christopher, Matthew, Alicia, Katie Beth and Wesley, and her great-grandchildren Nathan, Caroline, Emileigh and Annebell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Vineville United Methodist General Fund, (2045 Vineville Ave, Macon, GA 31204) or a charity of your choice.
