Born and raised in Rapides Parish, she has been a resident of Hammond since 1958. She was employed at Seventh Ward Hospital (North Oaks Medical Center) for thirty-three years. She was a member at Natalbany Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Drusilla Mulkey; a son, Leon "Butch" Wiley Jr (wife Anna Marie); three grandchildren, Kim Mulkey, Tammy Zievert, and Shannon Wiley McClendon; eight great grandchildren, Makenzie Robertson, Kramer Robertson, Bailey Zievert, Clem Zievert, Farrin Hill, Preston Hill, Carlee Hill, and Dylan McClendon; and a great-great-grandchild, Rylee Randol.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alene and John Bennett; her husband, Leon Berouix Wiley Sr; three sisters, Edna Jackson, Lorena Goodman, and Ruby Parker; five brothers, William James, James Carlos, John, Lawrence, and Earl; and a grandson, Mitchell Leon Wiley.
