Phyllis Louise Coats

The Lord extended his hand and led our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother into Heaven on January 4, 2008. Phyllis Louise Coats was born June 25, 1929 in Spokane, WA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard L. Henneman and V. Louise Soll. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 59 years, Richard "Dean" Coats; children, Stephanie (Steve) Krueger, Deana Marlene (Robert) Warrington, Robin (Terri) Coats, Chris Coats, Andrew (John) Coats; three granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. Phyllis was the eldest of four children, Carol Jean (Jerry) Betts, Richard (Geri) Henneman, and Janet Miller; step-brother, Bob (Mary Ann) Soll. Phyllis had a long love of gardening, camping, traveling, music, cooking, and family. She was the past president of the Sunshine Stroke Association, a member of the LDS Church, Benton Franklin Homemakers Club, and Good Sams of Spokane. Memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis' memory to Spokane Hospice House or the charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on February 2, 2008 at Fairmount Memorial Park, Sunset Chapel, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA
