About 9 o'clock yesterday morning, Mrs. Sarah S. Lloyd was taken with an apoplectic stroke, from the effects of which she died about 1 o'clock. Her funeral will take place from the residence of her father George Strickland, Esq., No. 315 South Fifth street, at 3 o'clock to-morrow. Mrs. Lloyd was a lady well known and highly esteemed in the city and her sudden death was a severe shock to her many friends. She leaves two sons, aged 15 and 13 years, to mourn her loss.
