OWENS: Billy D Owens SrJ passed away on Friday July 20 2001 at his residence He was a veteran and served in the US Navy during World War II .He lived in Corpus Christi Texas since 1959. He attended Parkdale Baptist Church Billy was married to Jimmie Jewel Owens for 53 years and she passed away in September 1993 and then he married Frances Mankin Owens on December 8 1997 who survives him He Is also survived by his daughter Carolyn Maddux of Corpus Christi Texas and her' daughter Kim Smith of Houston Texas and son Trey Maddux of College Station Texas a great grandson Gaston Smith of Houston Texas great grand daughter Savannah Leigh Smith of Houston Texas daughter and sotHn-law Donna Johnson & Robert Wallace Johnson II of Corpus Christi Texas and their sons Robert Bryan Johnson of San Marcos' Texas and Stephen Johnson of Coqxjs Christi Texas daughter A son-in-tow Dianna Wallach & Cooper Waltach and their sons Travis Wallach and Tyler Wallach afl of Houston Texas a son Billy Don Owens Jr of Corpus Christi Texas one brother and sister in law Gerald Mead and Betty Owens of Denison Texas one sister JoAnn Ethridge of Celeste Texas his stepchildren Dr RC Mankin of San Angelo Texas Thomas Mankin of Houston Texas and FarrelynLee of Bloomfield NM; Family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday July 21 2001 at Seaside Funeral Home A funeral service will be held ft 2:00 PM on Sunday July 22 2001 at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park & SEASIDE 4357 Ocean Drive 992-9411
