Grace Stinson was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. On April 21, 2022 she left this world to live eternally with her Heavenly Father.
She was born to Carl and Nora Mitchell of Calvary, Georgia on July 30, 1931. She attended Berry College where she met Donald Stinson, her husband. Together, they had two daughters, Gina and Sharon.
Grace was a skilled and devoted teacher for 37 years. She loved ALL of her family and friends, her Cokesbury United Methodist Church, Berry College, and her ADK sisters. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed quilting. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and shared her faith with everyone. Grace was a very special lady and will be dearly missed.
Grace is predeceased in death by Carl and Nora Mitchell (parents); "Junior" (brother); Frances (sister); Gina (daughter); Zack (grandson); and Don (husband). She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Tony Palmer; three grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; two brothers; a sister; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arrangements for Grace Stinson are on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Funeral Home on Scenic Hwy. Pensacola, FL. Visitation is from 10:00 - 11:00 am with the funeral at 11:00 am. Her burial ceremony will be immediately after at Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery in Chumuckla, FL.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Berry College, Cokesbury United Methodist Church, or Covenant Hospice.
