OSCEOLA MILLS - Rita Joyce Miller, 63, of Osceola Mills, died on Monday, April 18, 2022 at her home.
Born on June 30, 1958 In Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Walter James Miller, Sr. and Jane L. (Harter) Miller.
She was a member of the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of the Columbia Vol. Fire Co. in Osceola Mills, of which she was a former secretary. She was a retired custodian at the VFW 5020, Osceola Mills, and was a 1976 graduate of the Bald Eagle Area High School.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, James Walter Miller, Jr.; and by one nephew, Wayne F. Miller.
She is survived by one son, Jonathan Montgomery and his wife Becki of Mechanicsburg; one sister, Kellie Turner and her companion Tony of Biloxi, Miss.; three brothers, Kenny Harter and his wife Sue of Lock Haven, Dennis W. Miller and his wife Marion of Julian, and Douglas Miller and his wife Peggy of Salona; one granddaughter Lillian Jane Montgomery. She adored her uncle Tom and Aunt Pat Francis of Phoenix, Ariz.
At her request there will be no viewing or funeral services.
