Mrs. Clara B. Patterson, wife of Wallace Patterson, passed away at the home of her mother Mrs. Margaret Beacon, six miles south of Lisbon on the Steubenville road on Thursday afternoon, soon after the noon hour. Deceased was aged 32 years and four months. All of her life had been spent in teh immediate vicinity of where her death occurred. Her home since her marriage had been near her mother, returning there several months ago when her health failed and she was no longer able to look after the affairs of her household.
She is survived in the home by her husband and three daughters Evelyn 9, Mary (Merry) 7, and Marjorie 5, who mourn the loss of a good wife and mother. Her mother also survives Mrs. Patterson was a niece of Misses Mary and Massie Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Louden.
Funeral services will be held in the home of Mrs. Margaret Beacon Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. H. C. Foster, pastor of Bethel church, of which deceased had been a member since girlhood, in charge of the service. Burial will be made in Bethel cemetery.
