Wanda June Harvey Johnson, age 86, of OKC, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2022. She was born on October 2, 1935, in Pine Valley, Oklahoma to Opel Leon Harvey and Berenice Margie (Cox) Harvey. She graduated from Classen High School in 1953 in Oklahoma City. She met Thomas Coleman "Tommy" Johnson while attending church at 10th and Francis Church of Christ. They were married in OKC on September 17th, 1954. She worked for Globe Life Insurance and APCO Oil for several years before she went to work for Marlin Oil Corp., where she served as the bookkeeper until she retired in 1997.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy of OKC; three children: Scott and wife Bonna, Laurie Glasco and husband Dr. Wayne Glasco, and Tim and wife Glenda, all of OKC. Seven grandkids: Bill Early and wife Crystal of Moore, OK, David Johnson of Marietta, Ga., and Kati Ratliff and husband Sean of Moore, OK, T.J, Johnson, Cheyanne Johnson, Kyla Glasco, and Mallory Glasco, all of OKC. Five great grandchildren: Ava, Ryley, Ryan, Hazel, and Henry, as well as, 22 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ralph Leon Harvey.
