Mrs. Lillie Virginia "Jeanie" Stevens, 78, of Leakesville, MS passed from this life Sunday, April 17, 2022 at SAAD Hospice in Mobile, AL. She was born in Washington County, AL on Tuesday, May 4, 1943 to Robert Washington McIlwain and Allie Wood McIlwain. Mrs. Lille Jean was a firecracker and enjoyed watching game shows. She was a beloved member of the Leakesville community where she never met a stranger. She will truly be missed. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other family members. Mrs. Lillie Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Aaron Stevens; father, Robert Washington McIlwain; mother, Allie Wood McIlwain; daughter, Dian Thomas Nobles; four brothers, James McIlwain, Robert Lee McIlwain, Joe Bill McIlwain, Roy McIlwain; four sisters, Ada Mae Taylor, Ester Taylor, Opal Daugherty, Dorothy Turner.

She is survived by her four grandchildren, Chasity Phelps (Casey), Brett Nobles (Morgan), Alesha Henley (Jake), Drayten Nobles; seven great grandchildren, Emma Phelps, Conor Phelps, Tatum Nobles, Olivia Nobles, Alleigh Henley, Jace Henley, Tucker Henley; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Lillie Jean will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Brett Nobles officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
