Funeral services for Johnny Aaron Stevens, 68, of Waynesboro, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. W.R. Mills, Rev. Whit Lewis and Rev. Floyd Mills officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2010 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.
Following the funeral services, interment will follow at White House Cemetery in Waynesboro.
Born on Saturday, April 11, 1942, he was a native of Wayne County. A truck driver, he died on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Stevens of Waynesboro; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Donna Stevens of Waynesboro, Joey and Cynthia Stevens of Mobile, Ala., and Ronnie and Peanut Stevens of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Larry Koschner of Hamburg, Pa., and Dian and Tommy Nobles of Mobile, Ala.; a sister, Annie Lee Koen of Waynesboro; 13 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Stevens; his father, Jake Stevens; a brother, Curtis Ray Stevens; and a granddaughter, Leona Koscher.
Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro is in charge of arrangements.
