Wichita, Kansas - James D. Carson passed away October 31, 2021; beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, with beloved friends.
Jim was born February 25, 1933 to Lowell H. Carson and Gertrude (Flesher), in Fort Scott, Kansas. He was married on May 21, 1955.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Nicholas James; brothers, Kenneth, John and Paul; sisters, Maureen White, Leta Query and Juanita Phillips.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years; a son, and a daughter; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Jim served in the Army in Korea. He was a well-known barber and hairstylist in Wichita for 61 years and an avid WSU Shocker fan.
Jim requested a private family service.
A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
