Patricia Louise ("Pat") (McCasky) Wood, 82, of Chandler, Arizona, beloved sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to Heaven on Palm Sunday, March 10, 2022, in Mesa, Arizona surrounded by her family. Pat was born in Streator, Illinois on March 17, 1940 to Louise G.E. (Krull) McCasky and Edward E. McCasky). She was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Toluca, Illinois. She attended schools in Toluca, graduating from Toluca High School, where she was a Cheerleader. She married her sweetheart, Eugene Garnet ("Woody") Wood on November 16th, 1958 at St. John Lutheran Church in Toluca, Illinois. She, her husband and children moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1969. She worked in various upscale retail department stores, selling beauty products, cosmetics, and fragrances until her retirement. She served as President of Mesa Junior Womens' Club in the 70's, and as the first woman President of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Mesa, AZ. She enjoyed gardening, photography, Bible study group, and playing cards with family and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents: Louise G.E. (Krull) McCasky and Edward E. McCasky; her husband: Eugene G. ("Woody") Wood; her sister-in-law: Nancy McCasky.
Interment will immediately follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Toluca. IL.
