Mr. Crane was born August 1, 1942 in Wilkes County to Roby and Pearl Hendrix Crane. He was retired from American Drew and was a member of Lewis Fork Baptist Church.
He is survived by; his wife, Mable Aliene Clonch Crane of the home; three daughters, Virginia Robinson and husband, Ronnie, Betty Wyatt and husband, Ray all of Purlear, Tracy Bowlin and husband, Tony of Millers Creek; two sons, Tim Crane, Chris Crane both of Purlear; two sisters, Reba Johnson of Purlear, Frances Crane of Hays; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
