Obituary from Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport LA:
Otis Paul Clark, Sr., age 68, of Shreveport, Louisiana went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Otis was born July 2, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana to John David Clark, Sr. and Annie Durr Clark.

Otis graduated from Fair Park High School in 1971. He was a dedicated employee of Libby Glass and retired after many years of service. He was a devoted member of Kingston Road Baptist Church. His faith was very important to him and he never went anywhere without his Bible. Otis loved music, playing his guitar, collecting coins, rocks, and baseball cards. Most of all he loved his family. His children and grandchildren were his world. Otis was an amazing father and Papaw. He was always there for his family no matter what and never forgot a birthday or special event in their lives. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most.

Otis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John David Clark, Jr.; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Clark; son, Otis Paul Clark, Jr.; spouse, Elizabeth Lou Waller.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Lucy Clark Hinton; daughters, Jennifer Clark Kaylor (Pete), son, Jeremy Clark (Misty Griffin); daughter, Susie Clark; grandchildren, Haley Cella, Dylan Cella, Madison Kaylor, Macey Harr, Jeremiah Clark, Anna Kaylor, Selena Clark, Nayko Clark, and Liliane Clark; spouse Kathy King Clark.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 pm with Reverend Danny Causey officiating. Interment will be in Centuries Memorial Park. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Shane Harr, Pete Kaylor, Dylan Cella, Patrick Gilcrease, Jason Snead, Travis Clark and Curtis Clark.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Albert Batiste for his compassionate care through the years. The family would also like to thank his church family, friends, family members, and loved ones for their concern and help during this difficult time.
