Friday Rites Set For Albert Green
Funeral services for Albert Green, 68, of 6301 Southern, who died Monday afternoon at St. Joseph Hospital, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Broadway Mortuary.
Born Aug. 19, 1892, at Albany, Mo., Mr. Green moved to Wichita from Atwood, Kan., in 1952. He worked in the shipping department and sheet metal shop at Beech Aircraft Corp. Co. from 1952 to 1956.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; three daughters, Mrs. Glenn Colvin, of the home, Mrs. Leslie Makings, Longmont, Colo., and Mrs. Dollie Lanning, Salina, Kan.; four sons, Virgil, 6140 S. Osage, Victor S., 902 W. 63rd South, Bernard I., Fremont, Calif., and S.Sgt Bennie Lee, stationed in Japan; a sister, Mrs. Nora Cetrell, Boise, Idaho; two brothers, John, St. Geneva, Mo;, and Frank, address undetermined; 33 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Coin Rees, pastor of Oaklawn Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Clearwater.
