Ellen Marie Lewis of Muskogee, OK, passed this life on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the age of 78 while surrounded by her loving family. She was welcomed into this world in Hulbert, OK in a small log cabin, on March 19, 1939 to Burl Caffey and Mary (Maxwell) Caffey.
Ellen married the love of her life, Robert Lewis, on March 31, 1956, in Porter, OK. They spend nearly 62 wonderful years together. Ellen was a homemaker and she loved reading the Bible and religious books. She spent her life devoted to the Lord and her family. She was a dedicated prayer warrior . She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were her life.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Mary, brother Wayne Caffey, two sisters Frances and Ramona and grandson Chad Daughtery. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert, a son Bob Lewis and wife, Susan, of Muskogee, OK, one daughter Karen Bradley of Muskogee, OK, one brother, Randy Caffey, grandchildren Andrea Holly, Jake Bradley, Payton Bradley, Amanda Lewis, Jessica VanVoast, Jimmy Ray Daughtery, Krystal Lewis and great-grand children Samuel VanVoast, Elizabeth VanVoast, Olivia VanVoast, Layne Smart and Aven Holly.
