Robert T. Cooper
September 26, 1932 ~ March 31, 2022 (age 89)

Robert Thomas Cooper of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 89.

Bob was born on September 26, 1932, at Chester County Hospital the son of the late T. Willard and the late Alice Barber Cooper. He attended the West Chester High School, class of 1950 and graduated from Beacom College with a degree in accounting. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict spending time in Seward, Alaska.

He was a contractor by trade specializing in carpentry but could do anything including beautiful stone fireplaces. Growing up Bob was an avid fisherman going on trips with friends across the country and into Canada. He loved playing softball for his church, town, and senior leagues well into his seventies. Later in life he took up skiing going to New Hampshire and Vermont, particularly Stratton. He skied into his eighties and always said he could ski better than he could walk.

Bob always started his day at the DK Diner where he developed many friendships.

He was a member of the American Legion.

Bob had a great love of the Lord and family and was a special person.

He is survived by his sisters, Alice Casner, Arline MacKay (George) and by a brother W. Tyson (Susan) and nieces and nephews.

We want to thank the ICU of Paoli Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care and a special thank you to Jeanne Franklin for her unwavering assistance to Bob over the last several years

Friends and Relatives are invited to a graveside service Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.,
