François is the son of Mathieu Goutin Des Coutins and Jeanne Thibodeau. He was born in about 1687, as he was sixty-five years old when he died. He married *Marie-Angelique Aubert on 20 May 1719, in Acadie, New France. They are the parents of at least the following:
1) Jean (abt 1720- ) md Pierre-Joseph Dailleboust
2) Angelique (abt 1722-1748) became a sister on 19 February 1741
3) Marie-Anne (abt 1723- ) md Francois-Augustin Bailly
4) unknown (1729- )
Please note that nosorigines has him being born in about 1690 and baptized in 1693 in Port-Royal at the age of three. So I'm not sure if the age listed in his burial record is accurate.
*Marie-Angelique died two hours after giving birth to a child on 17 October 1729. She was buried the next day. She is the daughter of Charles Aubert and Marie-Angelique Denis.
