Linzy Eoff, a farmer, was the son of Alexander Eoff and Isabella Richardson, the former a native of South Carolina and the latter of Kentucky. Linzy was raised in St Louis County, Missouri. He and his cousin, Thomas Eoff, moved to Pulaski Co, Arkansas before 1845. In Big Rock township of Pulaski Co, Arkansas, Linzy married Martha Missouri Mills July 13, 1848. Linzy, Martha and their two oldest children left Arkansas before 1855 to make a permanent home in Franklin Co, Missouri. Their children were James Alexander Eoff, John Louis Eoff, Mary L (Eoff) Yeates, George M Eoff, Rufus Petyon Eoff, Sterling Price Eoff and Charles Clayborn Eoff.
