Josephine M. Ventriglia, age 81, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of Remington Shaver Co., entered into rest on Saturday, April 5, 2003, in her home. Born in Bridgeport, on November 20, 1921, she the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Ventriglia, and was a city resident all of her life. Survivors include her beloved family two brothers, Salvatore T. Ventriglia and his Josephine, of Bridgeport, Fred J. Ventriglia and his wife, Mary, of Trumbull; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Nicholas and Philip Ventriglia; and three sisters, Anna Donafrio, Mildred Tuozzoli and Mary Martino. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at 10 a.m. Directly in St. Patrick‚s Church, North Avenue, Bridgeport. Entombment in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Parente Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport. In lieu, of flowers, the family requested donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897 in memory of Josephine.
