Frank H. "Jack" Densmore, 88, of Ford City and Kittanning, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at QLS Assisted Living Personal Care Home, Apollo.

Born Sept. 9, 1933, in East Franklin Township, he was the son of the late Harry and Alice (Bellas) Densmore.

Jack grew up in the Kittanning area and resided in Ford City, for the majority of his adult life. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-1956, having also served in the Korean War. He worked for many years as a lab technician for various companies, including Allegheny Ludlum, General Electric and PPG.

Jack enjoyed watching sports on television, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins, and the Steelers. He loved music, from the Big Band era to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. He liked working, and most of all spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia (Kijowski) Densmore; and two infant sons, Curtis, and Leonard Densmore.

Jack is survived by his children: Leslie L. (Harry) Zimmerman, of Rayburn Township, Brian G. (Carla M.) Densmore, of Ford City and Eric P. (Amelia) Densmore, of Camden, S.C.; grandchildren: Heather A. (Steven) McMillen, Rachel L. (Chad) Shelly, Ethan R. (Chelsey) Zimmerman, Jeremy F. (Julie) Densmore, Jason A. Densmore, Janelle M. (Nick) Mc- Gaughey, Anthony Densmore, Erik-Jon (Emily) Densmore, and Ashley N. Densmore; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry (Linda) Densmore, of Cranberry; sister, Dixie (Dennis) Morgan, of Lexington, Ky.; close companion, Shirley Sigler; nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Jack's family would like to extend their appreciation to the Veterans Administration, for their dedication and care. They would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to the caretakers from Fair Winds Manor, especially Kathy, Vonda and Aleta; QLS staff,of which there are so many; and the staff of Bridges Hospice and all of their angels: especially Nikki, Kiersten, Deanna, Jeanine and Chaplain Don.

All services were private and entrusted to the care of Mantini Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 322 Eighth Ave., 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
