James T. O'Brien passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the age of 81, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Mary and James O'Brien, he has been a long-time resident of both Delaware and Bucks Counties and was a member of Saint Ignatius Church.

James was the proud owner of O'Brien's Service Company, Inc. for 28 years; He was passionate about his business. He worked tirelessly to support his family and to help others.

James loved his entire family; who will miss him dearly.

He enjoyed cars, good food, and making others laugh with his signature sense of humor.

Beloved husband of Nancy (Dochterman), James is the loving father of Heather Mangine (Anthony), James and Sean O'Brien; and the devoted grandfather of Hope Mauro and Sean and Molly O'Brien.

He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Patrick O'Brien; sisters, Margaret McQuillan, Nora Trampe, and Anna Marie McLaughlin; brother-in-law, Harry Evans; and many loving nieces and nephews.

James was predeceased by his sister, Maureen Evans.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, Pennsylvania.
