She married Afton F. Grant May 29, 1944, marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lolene held several positions in the church, serving many years in the Primary.
She loved children and tended her own five grandchildren for many years while their mothers worked. She was president of the P.T.A. for two years. She loved music and loved to dance.
Afton F. Grant passed away Sept. 11, 1976 after which Lolene married Arnel Dutson, then later on Carl Carlson of Orem. Then while living in the Meadows retirement home in St. George she found love and companionship when she met and married Ron Boucher who was also from New Harmony.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Grant, five grandchildren Amylee Canupp (Bob), Justin Harris (Tricia), Courtney Harris (Miguela), Chris Harris and Jeremy Harris (deceased), and eleven great-grandchildren, sisters Mona Higbee, Beverly (Larry) Miller, brothers Bryce (LaRee) Taylor, Doyle (Vickie) Taylor, and Karl (Pat) Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Gayle Ann Brooks, sisters Olga Woodbury and Mary (Jack) DeMass.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 5 at 12 Noon at the New Harmony, Utah cemetery.
