Larry Wendt, a 48-year-old resident of 1404 East 13th St. in Trenton, was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003) at the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, where he had been taken after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home a short while earlier.
Arrangements are pending at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. The family will be staying at the home of Donna Souders at 1810 Merrill St. in Trenton.

Mr. Wendt was born on Aug. 5, 1954 in Princeton, the son of Alva and Alma Hines Wendt. He was raised in the Spickard and Trenton areas and gradauted from Galt High School. He was married to Rose Wilson on Feb. 17, 2002 at Trenton. He had lived most of his life in Grundy County. Mr. Wendt was employed at Trenton Foods in Trenton.

Mr. Wendt is survived by his wife, Rose Wendt of the home in Trenton; two sons, Dakota Wendt of the home and Nick Wendt of Browning; one daughter, Melody Wendt of Browning; two brothers, Tom Wendt of Trenton and Marvin Wendt of Galena, KS; and five sisters, Linda Nordsieck of Enid, OK, Ruby Gunn of Holt, Virginia Thacher of North Kansas City, Diana Shaw of Trenton and Lois Pfieffer of Browning.

Mr. Wendt was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Charity Wendt; three brothers; and four sisters.
