Steve Dingus, son of Juanita Sturgill Dingus Matthews and the late Billy David Dingus was born in Baltimore, Maryland, December 16, 1961. He entered eternal life Friday, April 1, 2022 at his residence in Eolia, Kentucky being 60 years, 3 months ad 15 days of age at the time of his passing.
Steve was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to all that knew him.
Steve is survived by his mother; Juanita Matthews of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Two sons; Jason Maggard of McRoberts, Kentucky and David Dingus of Texas. Two brothers; Billy Dingus of Eolia, Kentucky and Charles Matthew Jr. of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Four sisters; Sandra Bradley of Gordon, Kentucky, Margaret Sumpter of Castlewood, Virginia, Theresa Polly of Mayking, Kentucky and Karen Smith of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Also surviving are two grandchildren; Audrey, Jailey and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Steve was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Dingus.
Burial in the Bowman Cemetery at Eolia, Kentucky.
