Johnny William Epps, 63, died May 25, 2006. A native of Madison County, he was a son of the late Grace Louise Blackmon and John Royal Epps. He was employed in law enforcement in this area for over 30 years and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Funeral services were Sunday, May 28, 2006, at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Strickland officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife of forty-three years, Mary Helen Epps; two sons and daughter-in-law, William T. and Wendy Epps of Bogart, and Norman C. Epps of Denver, CO; sister, Jeannette Smith of Winterville; four grandchildren, Ashley, Keelie, Michael and John.Nephews served as pallbearers. Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
