Terry N. Dennis, 82, of Jacksonville, IL died Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 11, 1939, in Belleville, the son of Ralph F. and Ruth E. Lovell Dennis. He married Sara Jo Evans on April 8, 1967, at Faith Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, and she survives.
Terry was a 1957 graduate of Jacksonville High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1959 -1963 and was proud of his service to his country. He later retired from Capitol Records/EMI in Jacksonville. He was an enthusiastic volunteer at Passavant Area Hospital (now Jacksonville Memorial Hospital) and was very well liked by both the staff and patients.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Andrea L. Dennis; and five brothers and three sisters, Carol Sturdivant, Richard E. Dennis, Marilyn Neff, Peggy J. Lindsey, Fredrick Joseph Dennis, Jeffery L. Dennis, Timothy A. Dennis and Kerry W. Dennis.
Private family burial will be held at Winchester City Cemetery.
