Phillip Wayne Renfro, 53, of Owenton, died Tuesday January 6th at the Owenton Manor.
Born December 2 1950, he was the son of the late Velmar Renfro and was also preceded in death by his son Ronnie Dale Renfro and his brother Leonard Foster Renfro. He was employed by Actaris where he was a meter tester. He was a member of the Owen County Bassmasters and attended Richland Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Angie Minor Renfro; his mother Barbara Alice Boothby Renfro; two sons, Phillip Wayne Renfro, Jr. of Owenton and Kyle Wiley of Frankfort; three stepsons, Ethan Bradford, Spencer and Tyler Lawson all of Owenton; five brothers, Johnny Hill of New Liberty, Velmar Renfro, Jr. of Owenton, William Kenneth Renfro of Hesler, Jackie Renfro, Don Renfro and Marty Renfro all of Owenton; eight sisters, Sarah F. McCormick of Owenton, Fannie Dews of Cincinnati, OH, Jane Ellen Marsh of Owenton, Faye E. Swiger of Frankfort, Rosie Juett, Shirley Moore, Roxanne Miller and Barbara Wainscott all of Owenton.
Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes where family will receive friends from 4-9 Thursday at the Main Street location. Funeral Services will be 1 pm Friday at the funeral home with David Wotier officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Owenton Bassmasters Kids Tournament.
