Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Wednesday, November 20, at 2 p.m. at the Sauter Funeral Home, Spring Grove. Interment in Zion (Shaffer’s) Union Church Cemetery, near Hanover Junction.

Titus Bortner
Hanover – Titus Bortner, 90, Hanover RD 3, died yesterday at 10:45 a.m. at York Hospital where he had been a patient eight days.
He was a son of the late Levi and Rachel Stegner Bortner and was born in York County. He was preceded in death by two wives, Mrs. Rebecca Deardorff Bortner and Mrs. Susan Taylor Bortner.
Mr. Bortner is survived by four sons, Earl W. Bortner, Glen Rock RD 1; Russell A. Bortner, York; Levi H. Bortner, Spring Grove RD 2, and Charles F. Bortner, Hanover RD 3; four daughters, Mrs. Earl W. Martin, Hanover RD 1; Mrs. Mary R. Garver, 24 Pleasant Street, Hanover; Mrs. Elwood Rudisill, Marlton, N.J., and Mrs. Grover Flickinger, Hanover RD 3; 19 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, a brother, Robert Bortner, a guest at Pleasant Acres, and a sister, Mrs. William Mosebrook, Shrewsbury.
Rev. James Bates, pastor of God’s Missionary Church, Hanover, will officiate at the funeral at the Sauter Funeral Home, Spring Grove, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Zion (Shaffer’s) Union Church Cemetery, near Hanover Junction.
