Major Towers, 64, of 1027 N. Washington, a painter, died Thursday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Born at Razor, Tex., he came to Wichita in 1957 from Stillwater, Okla.
Survivors include his widow, Katy Lee; a daughter, Mrs. Mable Smith, Lincoln, Neb.; four brothers, Herbert, Grant, Okla., Cecil and Elmer of Omaha, Neb., and Claude, Covert, Mich., and five sisters, Mrs. Emma Cunningham, Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. Pearl Counce, Mrs. Sallie Womack, Mrs. Mable Waller and Mrs. Josephine Watkins, of Omaha.
