Harrison Ewers and Mary S. "Mollie" O'Bannon, both of Pettis County, were married on 25 December 1883 in that county in the bride's father's home. The couple were the parents of Benjamin Clifford, and a second child (died young). The couple farmed in the county until about 1932, when they retired to Kansas City, Missouri.
