Reginald Masters was born January 29, 1932 in Ponte, Texas to Frank and Ashia Masters. His youth was spent in Grapeland, Texas where he graduated Grapeland High School in 1949. Reginald proudly served his country in the United States Army and honorably discharged in 1961 as a sergeant. He married the love of his life, Betty Jane Ducote on June 1, 1950. They were blessed with 53 years of marriage and 4 children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, 4 brothers, 1 sister, and grandson Stephan.

He is survived by his children: Karen and husband Tommy Hughes of Pasadena, TX, Susan and husband Gary Bolton of League City, TX, Steve Masters of Denver Colorado, and Amanda Smith of Pasadena, TX, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Reg was charitable, loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, woodworking and writing poetry.

Services for Reginald Masters will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Parker Cemetery in Grapeland, TX.
