Sharon Lea Sharp was born on January 5, 1950 to Richard and Mary Alice (Tinsley) Sharp in Oklahoma City. She was raised and attended school in Choctaw, OK. Following her graduation from Choctaw High School, Sharon married the love of her life, Jack Mahan. Sharon and Jack raised three wonderful children during their 35 years of marriage.
Sharon spent several years working for TG&Y. She spent much of her life employed as a secretary at Tinker Air Force Base until her retirement in 1988. She then earned her CNA certification and spent over a decade as a medical secretary at Midwest City Regional Hospital.
Sharon Mahan was a kind and generous woman who loved animals. She taught her family the value of hard work. She was always willing to open her house to stray pets or a friend who needed a hand. She modeled unconditional love to her family and she was never happier than when she was surrounded by her kids and grandkids. Sharon was a loving mother, a proud "Mamo," and a trusted friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mary Alice Sharp, and her best friend Janelle Culver.
