Jackie R. Brown, age 75, of Versailles, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at his home. He was born June 29, 1946, in Morgan County, a son of the late Theodore and Viola (Garrison) Brown.
On March 5, 1966, in Fortuna, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Shirley (Maharg) Brown.
He worked for the Dixon Ticonderoga Pencil Factory for over ten years. Jackie retired from Ozark Barge and Dock in Gravois Mills after many years of employment. He enjoyed spending time fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan.
In addition to his wife, Shirley, he is survived by his daughters, Tracy Weicken of Versailles, Missouri, Jacinda Uptegrove and husband Brian of Leeton, Missouri, Jacqueline Money and husband Travis of Versailles, Missouri and Tashia Money and husband Matt of Duncan, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jessie Brown of the state of California; sister, Beverly Howser of Gravois Mills, Missouri and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the Versailles Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
