DEATHS AND FUNERALS
Mrs. Joseph Balchus
Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Balchus of 545 East Centre Street, passed away at 9:30 o'clock last evening at the Fountain Springs State Hospital after a short illness of a complication of diseases.
She was 38 years of and was well known in town. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. William Sadukas, Mary, Helen, Isabel and William, brothers of George and William Zitkus, Connertown and one brother and two sisters in Europe. The body was removed to the home of her brother, George, No. 515 East Centre Street, from where the funeral will take place.

Funeral of Mrs. Joseph Balchus
The funeral of Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Balchus, who died Tuesday last at the State Hospital at Fountain Springs, took place at 10 o'clock this morning from the home of her brother, George Zitus, 515 East Centre Street, and was attended by many relatives and friends. There were many beautiful floral offerings. The pallbearers were George Skaudis, Jacob Barauskas, John Yadusky, William Patusky, Stanley Kaleda, and Andrew Makstutis. Interment was made in St. George's Cemetery. William Menkewics was funeral director.
