Married Lacy Holmes McDuffie 1931-Five children-Willa Deane(Charles)Jamieson,Glenda Faye(A.V.)Richardson,Lacy Farrell,Donald Morris(Paulette) and Beverly Ann(Tim)Wolz.Mother was renowned for her good cooking-played piano beautifully by ear and had a great singing voice. Sang all the time as she worked. Knew all the old ballads and the old tearjerker songs as well as all gospel tunes. Loved her children but adored her grandchildren. They could do no wrong in her eyes. Lifelong dedicated member of Live Oak United Methodist Church. Died as she lived-quietly and gracefully after a four month illness of pancreatic cancer. We'll always miss her as she was the heart of the home.
