Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) Andrews Allen, age 99, of Ridge Grove, Alabama died Tuesday March 15, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center.
Mrs. Allen was born in Chambers County, Alabama September 21, 1922 to the late James Leonard Andrews and the late Bertha Henderson Andrews. She was a member of the County Line Baptist Church near Dudleyville.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 18, 2022 at 11 AM at County Line Baptist Church with burial to follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday at County Line Baptist Church 5232 Co Rd 51 Camp Hill, Alabama 36850 from 6 PM until 8 PM.
She is survived by five children, Dianne (Jimmy) Lee of Ridge Grove, Rev. Jimmy (Martha) Allen of Ridge Grove, Elaine (Wayne) Bartlett of Hamilton, Johnny (Sue) Allen of Ridge Grove, and Gerald (Kay) Allen of LaFayette; 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J. Palmer Allen; granddaughter, Tanya Allen McAllister; and five siblings.
