Jean Allen, 76, of Gainesville, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2022.

She was born February 8, 1946 to Otis and Dorothy (Koelling) Brawley in Shannon County Missouri. On April 24, 1965 she married Nay Allen at Brushy Knob Church and they had one daughter, Lana (Allen) Dean.

Jean owned and operated The Flower Shop in Gainesville for many years and was an active member of the Gainesville Christian Church. She enjoyed working at the Ozark County Historium and volunteering at the Senior Center.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Nay Allen of Gainesville; her daughter Lana Dean and husband Bret Dean of White Hall, AR; four grandchildren: Jordan Moudy, Heather Jennings, Rhett Dean, and Anna Grace Dean; and five great-grandchildren: Zibby Moudy, Isaac Moudy, Huxton Jennings, Jett Dean, and Jax Dean.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Dale Roberts officiating. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 1 p.m. to service time. Burial will be in the Lilly Ridge Cemetery.
